Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip garden,the largest Tulip garden of Asia spread over an area of about 12 hectares. I had always heard of Netherlands Tulip Garden but was never aware of Srinagar to be the largest Tulip Garden in Asia! It is located in the foothills of the Zabarwan mountains with an overview of picturesque world famous Dal Lake. You can see over 100 varieties of tulips in various hues. This garden was created  in the year 2006-07 with the aim to advance tourism in Kashmir Valley.  Feeling awesome in Srinagar Tulip Garden! The Tulip Garden makes you feel beautiful too! Look at the petals! How beautiful they are! I love violet and here you are! enjoy it! This is my portion of happiness! Dal Lake is a lake in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.Dal Lake is named the "Jewel in the crown of Kashmir" or "Srinagar's Jewel". Dal Lake is actually the heart of Srinagar and many people sell their goods, produced by themselves or their wives here in floating markets .They sell everything from flowers,leather goods,precious stone jewelry,vegetables and everything you can ever think of in those floating markets.Once I was going back to my hose boat which I got caught by one of those persistent Kashmir sellers and he could sell me three beautiful bags in no time! Pari Mahal is a seven terraced garden located at the top of Zabarwan mountain range over-looking city of Srinagar and south-west of Dal Lake.The architecture depicts an example of Islamic architecture during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. It is five-minute drive from Cheshmashahi, Srinagar.

Chashme Shahi ( the royal spring), also called Chashma Shahi, is one of the Mughal gardens built around a spring by Ali Mardan, a governor of Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan,The garden  overlooking Dal Lake in Srinagar, Kashmir. Trying the pleasant spring water! met some lively female travelers in Cheshme Shahi! they were so energetic! beautiful Cheshme Sahi !

I had always been told about beautiful gardens of Kashmir, influenced by Persians particulary the Charbagh structure.Persian Gardens date back to 4000 BC! Mughal emperors were influenced by Persian Gardens and you can see one of the nicest examples of Persian style gardens in Taj Mahal in India as well as Iran itself !
