Is "Shalimar Garden" a Persian style garden in Kashmir?

I had always been told about beautiful gardens of Kashmir, influenced by Persians particulary the Charbagh structure.Persian Gardens date back to 4000 BC! Mughal emperors were influenced by Persian Gardens and you can see one of the nicest examples of Persian style gardens in Taj Mahal in India as well as Iran itself !

Dal Lake is a lake in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.Dal Lake is named the "Jewel in the crown of Kashmir" or "Srinagar's Jewel".
